Mobile Commerce - Just The Facts And The Money Potential

Today, Mobile Commerce (receiving products, services and/or information through the use of mobile devices) is EXPLODING E-Commerce. Mobile devices typically known as a smart phones, PDA's and cell phones are in 5-6 BILLION hands daily.

This little device that sits in your hand, purse, pants, coat or on a train, plane, bus, car, at the coffee shop, kitchen table, library, school, next to your bed, even in some bathrooms will/is revolutionizing E-Commerce into a different Internet Marketing world. Soon the way we generate traffic and thus sales will be the old Internet Marketing way of generating traffic (traffic still ='s money).

Let me give you a few facts about Mobile Commerce's money making potential:
  • There are 60 million smart phones users in the U.S. alone. More than double the number just a year ago (recession, what recession?).
  • That's not counting the billions that you can communicate and sell to over seas.
  • The Internet measurement firm The Nielsen Co. projects the number will more than double to 140 million web-based phones by the third quarter of 2011, in the U.S alone.
  • Smart phones will overtake conventional phones by the end of 2011.
  • Mobile Commerce this year will generate upwards of $5 BILLION in revenue, more than double the prior year (recession-what recession?). THAT'S $5 BILLION!

More facts for your consideration:
  • You can't wait until another year to join the Mobile Commerce band wagon before Mobile Commerce becomes so well known or so huge before you climb on board.
  • You can't wait until you hear everyone else talking about Mobile Commerce and how much money their making.
  • You can't wait until all of the major players get involved. Though some of them are increasing their budgets to increase their Mobile Commerce branding.
  • Mobile Commerce is not a fad, a trial, a get-rich-quick-scheme, an option, an accessory - IT WILL BE AN E-COMMERCE STANDARD.
  • And Mobile Commerce is moving fast, because there's money to be made.

I'll be back with more facts and how to start or investigate the Mobile Commerce industry in a few days, so check back soon.
